Cafe Minerva

Cafe Minerva is a cafe/restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The center bar allows customers to watch their coffee being made by the barristers in hand press espresso machines. Others can sit on the tables along the walls. The storefront is very charming, and the walls are decorated with photographs and dim lighting. Lighting is comfortable enough if you want to enjoy some reading on a break. Their kitchen entrance can be seen at the back behind the center counter tops.
Their coffee is something to try, whether it suits your tastes or not. Simply watching the coffee being hand made is great. There are enough snack menus to entertain you, (lemon and almond cookies were delicious) or you can order full meals as they do operate as a restaurant as well as a cafe. At dinner, they offer wine bottles for $20 which is a big attraction. Be warned though, their ventilation doesn't seem to do a great job as the place smells quite greasy inside. Also they don't carry soy milk for coffee. Service was nothing to complain about, but it was during the afternoon on a weekday and seemed relatively relaxing.
Unfortunately, they do not have a website yet. Please check the address or phone number at the bottom for more information.
