Owned by Chef Thierry Rochard, Tartine is a quaint French bistro on West 4th and 11th street. Seating can be a bit tight, but the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The neighborhood is relaxing enough to stop by for a cup of coffee, or sit down for a full meal. They offer daily specials and brunch everyday, along with their delicious bakery offerings.
Their coffee was unexpectedly tasty, and even better than some cafes in the area. Their sidewalk seating is very charming during nice weathers. Their brunch menu is very pleasing and also well priced, but be aware that people are willing to wait a long line. Also, make sure to remember that the place is BYO.
