The 2014 Village Halloween Parade is an annual holiday parade that takes place in Greenwich Village, NY. It is a fun and festive event that draws many people to watch and see the interesting Halloween costumes that the participants had to show. Being held annually since 1974, this year's event was the 41st parade.
The 2014 Village Halloween Parade was also benefited by the wonderful weather and was enjoyed by overwhelming amount of viewers for many reasons. Aside from the gorgeous weather, this year's Halloween was held on a Friday. Moreover, the 2014 New York City Marathon was scheduled on November 2, which meant many people from outside the city was around the area to see the event.
